NYC Winter Rooftops That Also Offer Brunch on Weekends!
Great and cool indoor rooftop with views of the Empire State Building and a nice decor.
Great for lunch on weekdays and brunch on weekends.
Refinery Rooftop: 63 W 38th St. & 6th Ave.
The Lodge at Gallow Green
Atop the roof of McKittrick Hotel (home to Sleep No More). A rooftop hideaway bar and restaurant with a super cozy Winter cabin vibe. It’s usually open from the first days of December.
Good for dinner and brunch on weekends.
Gallow Green: 542 W 27th St. between 10th & 11th Ave.
Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel
Penthouse level lounge with stunning views of the Chrysler Building with indoor and outdoor space and heated floors to make sure you stay warm & cozy!
Good for cocktails & small plates and brunch on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
Dress code: business casual. No sneakers or flip-flops.
Upstairs at the Kimberly: 145 E 50th St. between 3rd & Lexington Ave.
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar
Amazing rooftop with awesome views of the Empire State Building. They provide red robes for everyone and they put those Winter Igloos in Winter. It’s a cool experience.
Good for drinks & bites and a brunch buffet on weekends.

Mr. Purple Rooftop Bar & Restaurant
Lower East Side
A nice and spacious indoor rooftop with large windows and great NYC views. Chaise lounges, banquettes, and high top communal tables.
Good for evening drinks & bites and brunch on weekends.
Tip: go early to avoid long lines.
Mr. Purple: 180 Orchard St. 15th Fl. of Hotel Indigo.
This NYC Rooftop transforms into a ski chalet in winter making it a very cozy place. Located at the top of the Sanctuary Hotel. Don’t expect a super view though but it’s still a nice rooftop!
Good for happy hour & dinner on weekdays.
Brunch on Weekends: 11:30am – 2:30pm (last reservation).
Dress code: business casual. No sneakers or ripped clothing.
Haven Rooftop: 132 W 47th St. between 7th & 6th Ave.

A popular and fancy NYC Rooftop with large windows providing amazing views of Manhattan, located at the Standard Hotel.
Good for evening/night cocktails and a small-plate menu.
Dress code: smart casual.
Top of the Standard: Washington St. & 13th St.
Modern steakhouse and chic lounge.
Good for happy hour, fine dining and cocktails.
The lodge (rooftop) is open Wed-Sat for dinner.

PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown
Cool and popular NYC Nightclub Rooftop with awesome Manhattan views.

The highest NYC Rooftop Bar with amazing views located on the 65th floor! Get your drinks with an awesome view of the Empire State building.
Good for a fancy dinner and/or evening-night cocktails.

Jimmy at The James
An 18th floor rooftop with a 1970’s NY twist and great views of the One World Trade Center.
Good for evening/night drinks & bites.
Jimmy at The James: 15 Thompson St. between Grand St. & Canal St.
Great rooftop in Brooklyn with breathtaking views of Manhattan! With indoor space. I’d say this rooftop has the best NYC Views!
Good to go for drinks in the evening/night.

The Roof at Public Hotel
Lower East Side
Vibrant NYC rooftop bar that appears to be floating in the sky! With a 360-degree view of NYC skyline with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Good for sunset cocktails and late-night hotspot.
The Roof at Public Hotel: 215 Chrystie St. between Stanton & E Houston Sts.
Good Behavior Rooftop at MADE Hotel
An 18th Floor NYC Rooftop with plants that will make you feel like you’re in Summer!
Good for evening cocktails and craft beers.

Sir Henri Penthouse Rooftop
Cocktailing at this rooftop speakeasy. An intimate jazz age penthouse bar.
Good for happy hour & night drinks.

A large NYC Rooftop featuring an “urban amusement park” with adult sensibilities, great Empire State Building views, a rotating carousel and more.
Good to go in the evening/night for drinks and light bites. They offer the small plates & cocktail menu everyday beginning 4pm.
The circus theme they used to have is now held on Thursdays at Bodega Negra at the Dream Downtown Hotel.
Magic Hour: 485 7th Ave. (at 36th St).
