Travel in NYC Vintage Subways of the 1930s
Take a historic ride on the NYC vintage subways or buses! An exciting annual tradition that allows you to literally travel back in time. A unique opportunity to take a ride on the subway cars that were in service from 1932 to 1977. Really cool!
This tradition is called “The Vintage Subway and Bus Fleet” (also known as the “Holiday Nostalgia Rides“). It will make you enjoy the charm of the wicker seats, ceiling fans, incandescent bulb lighting of more than 40 years ago. You may also see people dressed up in clothing from that period of time!
WHEN IS THIS ANNUAL TRADITION
Every holiday season! It takes place every year on Sundays, between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
