Get Rid of Unsolicited Commercial Mail

The Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) Mail Preference Service (MPS) lets you opt out of receiving unsolicited commercial mail from many national companies for five years.

When you register at their website, they’ll help you to stop receiving the mail you don’t want.

This will reduce most of your unsolicited mail. But it won’t stop mailings from organizations that don’t use the DMA’s Mail Preference Service.

2 Ways to Opt Out:

  • Register Online with DMA’s Mail Preference Service here.
  • Mail your request with a $1 processing fee to:

DMAchoice
Direct Marketing Association
P.O. Box 643
Carmel, NY 10512

Reduce Telemarketing Phone Calls

You can remove your number from the registry on the National Do Not Call Registry, a free and easy way to reduce the telemarketing calls you’re getting.

  • Visit their website here
  • Call 1-888-382-1222 from the number you want to remove

Unsolicited Commercial Emails

Receiving Unsolicited Emails

The DMA also has an Email Preference Service (eMPS) to help you reduce unsolicited commercial emails from national lists.

You will keep receiving emails from advertisers who don’t use eMPS to clean their lists.

If you keep receiving emails from certain brands, you’ll have to do it manually by clicking on “unsubscribe” at the end of the email.

Hope this helps to get rid of all the junk mail 🙂 Please, recommend and share!
