This will reduce most of your unsolicited mail. But it won’t¬†stop mailings from organizations that don’t use the DMA’s Mail Preference Service.

Receiving Unsolicited Emails

The DMA also has an Email Preference Service (eMPS) to help you reduce unsolicited commercial emails from national lists.

You will keep receiving emails from advertisers who don’t use eMPS to clean their lists.

If you keep receiving emails from certain brands, you’ll have to do it manually by clicking on “unsubscribe” at the end of the email.
