New Broadway Play with Jeff Daniels & Michelle Williams!
The New Broadway Play, Blackbird, opens on March 10 for only 15 weeks! It’s a wonderful opportunity to see Jeff Daniels and Michelle Williams on stage! A play written by David Harrower and directed by Joe Mantello (Tony Award Winner).
The three-time Oscar nominee, Michelle Williams, and Emmy winner, Jeff Daniels, will star in Blackbird (Oliver Award Winner for Best Play). Called “one of the most powerful dramas of the century” by The New York Times, Blackbird is “a brilliant and tantalizing study in sexual obsession that leaves one both shaken and stirred” (The Guardian). Scheduled to play until June 12th.
Michelle Williams is knows for the hit TV show Dawson’s Creek. Film credits include roles in Brokeback Mountain (Oscar nomination), Synecdoche, New York, Blue Valentine (Oscar nomination), Shutter Island, I’m Not There, Take This Waltz, My Week with Marilyn (Oscar nomination), and Oz the Great and Powerful. Off Broadway credits: Smelling a Rat, Tracy Letts’ Killer Joe and in Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She made her Broadway debut in the recent revival of Cabaret.
Jeff Daniels is known for this roles in the films The Crossing, Dumb and Dumber, and Howl. He also starred in the HBO series The Newsroom (he received an Emmy for his role). Other film credits include roles in The Purple Rose of Cairo, The Squid and the Whale, The Hours, Good Night and Good Luck and Terms of Endearment. He received a Tony nod for God of Carnage. Other Broadway credits include Redwood Curtain, The Golden Age, Fifth of July and Gemini.
