NYC on a Bike: Map Route Ideas for Bike Rides Around New York

Check out some ideas to explore NYC on a Bike with the Map Routes Below! I’m gonna be updating this post so stay tuned 🙂

Bike Ride Next to Hudson River

From Times Square to West Village

Start: 12th Ave. & 40th St.

Finish: Pier 40 / West St. & W Houston St.

Bike Ride Duration: 15 min. approx.

I started from Times Square all the way to West Village / West Soho. You can continue to Battery Park if you wanna keep going!

It’s a very smooth route because you have a bike lane all the way from Times Square to Lower Manhattan next to the river! So it’s mainly a non-stop route.

It’s a beautiful ride, especially in the Summer because you have lots of green around you and wonderful views of the Hudson River.

Click on the square at the top right to view the map on a new tab in full.

Hi there :) I'm Jess and I came to NYC to pursue my dream and I feel I'm living it every day. New York is magical and you have to be open to everything because you never know who is sitting next to you on the subway or behind you in the line of the supermarket. I decided to create this blog about NYC because I realized how many powerful tips would have helped me if I knew them before coming to the city from someone who was living in NY! So I thought that it would be awesome to share with you some tips about New York from a New Yorker. I'm going to keep updating this blog so stay tuned :)
