Avoid Huge Lines at Supermarkets before the Blizzard

There’s a blizzard warning in New York City. A big snow storm is coming with strong winds tomorrow Saturday. Since it was spread all over the news, it seems like the end of the world in New York. Everyone is going out to the supermarkets to buy groceries. Transportation, stores, work, schools may be cancelled due to the storm. You need to buy groceries if you don’t have enough for the weekend.

If you still need to buy groceries, I would recommend to avoid going to places like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Food Emporium if you don’t want to make huge lines. Try going to some Duane Reade or CVS. Usually they have less people when everyone is desperate going to the supermarkets to buy things like milk, water, fruits, cereals, etc. You can also find that stuff at Duane Reade.

Hope this helps 🙂

I decided to create this blog about NYC because I realized how many powerful tips would have helped me if I knew them before coming to the city from someone who was living in NY! So I thought that it would be awesome to share with you some tips about New York from a New Yorker. I'm going to keep updating this blog so stay tuned :)
