Luggage Storage Facilities in Manhattan

Hotels and Hostels usually have a luggage storage room. You can call or email them to ask, before you arrive to the city.

When is it convenient to use a Luggage Storage Service?
  • You’re visiting NYC for the day and don’t have a place to leave your luggage.
  • Your hotel doesn’t have a luggage storage room.
  • The hotel / hostel / apt. isn’t located in a convenient area. It may be far from the attractions you’re visiting your last day, and you wanna use your last hours in the city to maximum.
  • Your hotel/hostel charges a lot of money to leave luggage. More over, if you have to pay an extra subway trip or taxi to go and pick up your stuff.
  • You’re traveling out of NY for a few days and you don’t wanna carry all your luggage with you.

Quick note: I never used any of them. I’m writing this post (based on other people’s feedback) because I know it’s useful to some visitors.

  • Always lock your luggage before storing it.
  • Allow ample time for potential lines on collection.
  • Keep valuables with you: money, passport, camera, etc.

CBH: they don’t have good reviews. I wouldn’t take a risk going here. People complain that they don’t keep track of the time you drop off the luggage, they want to charge you more per item once you’re there…

I'm an actress and pop singer born in Argentina. I came to NYC to pursue my dream and I feel I'm living it every day. New York is magic and you have to be open to everything, because you never know who is seating right next to you on the subway or behind you in the line of the super market. I decided to create this blog about NYC because I realized how many powerful tips would have helped me if I knew them before from someone who was living in the city! So I thought that it would be awesome to share with you some tips about New York from a New Yorker. You can read more about me at I'm going to keep updating this blog so stay tuned :)
